Girisanchar is All India DAE Trekking Expedition organised by DAE Sports and Cultural Council only for DAE Employees. The trek is being co-ordinated by BARC/NPCIL Staff Club and volunteers from various units of DAE. We are here to provide unique adventures in the mountains.
This event would bring together the employees of various DAE units with an aim to promote a love for nature by outdoors camping in remote hills and valleys.
Girisanchar, over the years have taken our employees away from the stress of everyday life and created a relaxing and fun adventure.

The landscape can stimulate creativity among us and inspire to reflect on life, relationships from a "different" perspective. Also exposure to the legends, voices and rich oral traditions of the mountain villages can enrich the writing and other creative skills. These stories, paintings and other art objects can serve to explore a number of issues in the humanities.
