The width between the mountain keeps varying at some point, it is very narrow 3-4 feet and at some place it is wide. Sandhan Valley, also known as Valley of Shadows, is one of the greatest canyons in the splendid setting of Sahyadri. Crossing pools of freezing water with water levels nearly chest deep at places. Admiring nature’s spellwork after crossing each surprise rock patch, some easy, some difficult, some scary, some cumbersome. Rock-hopping throughout the valley.
